MWC 2017: ZTE Gigabit Phone Announced With Up To 1Gbps Download Speed

Well, the dust of 4G smartphones is yet to be settled and ZTE has unveiled a concept phone which comes with 5G network capabilities. At MWC 2017, ZTE has announced this concept phone Gigabit which company claims to be the first smartphone to with download speed up to 1Gbps. 

The concept phone is powered by the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with an integrated Snapdragon X16 LTE modem that utilises a combination of carrier aggregation designed to deliver peak download speeds up to one Gigabit per second. The X16 LTE modem is 10 times faster than the first-generation 4G LTE network. It is also integrated with 2×2 11ac MU-MIMO Wi-Fi which is capable of providing wireless Internet access at fibre optic speeds.
