While Realme is busy trying to find a date for announcing its budget Narzo-series devices in India, a lot of leaks and rumours surrounding the device have already painted a clear picture for what the company has in store. However, today some new photos have been spotted on Weibo of a previously unseen Realme device. There have been reports of a new upcoming smartphone from the former OPPO sub-brand called the the Realme X3 SuperZoom and it is possible that these leaked images pertain to this device. As per the images spotted on Weibo, only the back of this unknown Realme device is visible and it closely resembles the OPPO Reno launched last year.
New Realme smartphone spotted in leaked images
The Realme device has a carbon fibre pattern under a vertical strip of glass in the middle with golden accents. There is a triple-camera setup visible on the top of this glass strip while the Realme logo is present in the middle. There is a textured finish on either side of the glass and the LED flash is present alongside the camera setup. The words AI quad-camera are mentioned on the side but the image reveals only a triple-camera setup.
The Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition was recently spotted on Geekbench and it also cleared the Bluetooth SIG certification which means that an Indian launch date for the device is coming sooner rather than later. However, the images of the device do not show any kind of periscope lens which is something that would be required to facilitate a rumoured 20X hybrid zoom on the Reame X3 SuperZoom. It is also possible that these images are of a prototype of an earlier Realme device which was not announced. In any case, all phone launches in the country have been currently put on hold due to the coronavirus lockdown and it remains to be seen when the OEMs deem it fit to announce new devices in the country.
