The post-theatrical digital rights of Naai Sekar Returns have been bagged by Netflix. The film will start streaming online from January 6th 2023. It will stream in Tamil (Original). And reports peg Naai Sekar Returns will also be available to stream in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam audio languages.

The satellite rights of the film were sold to SUN TV. Sun TV shared the official trailer of Naai Sekar Returns on their YouTube channel. It got mixed reviews from critics. When the red card issued against actor Vadivelu was lifted, he announced his next movie with director Suraj.

Vadivelu, Redin Kingsley, Sivaangi Krishnakumar, Anandara, Shivani Narayanan, Anandaraj, Lollu Sabha Maaran, Munishkanth, Sanjana Singh, Rao Ramesh, RJ Vigneshkanth, T.M. Karthik, Prashanth Rangaswamy and Lollu Sabha Seshu are the actors who star in the film among others. Subaskaran Allirajah is the producer of Naai Sekar Returns, which is made under the banner of Lyca Productions. Suraj is the writer and the director of the film. Santhosh Narayanan is the music composer, and Vignesh Vasu is the cinematographer.

Naai Sekar (Vadivelu) is a small criminal. He kidnaps dogs belonging to rich families and collects ransom. But he makes a mistake, when he abducts a dog belonging to a gangster.
