Netflix is a go to destination for most OTT fans. The platform has increased the number of original shows and also looking at adding a lot of variety. Last month, the company announced that it will invest more on content creation. The comapny also revealed that the engagement on the app was up 30%.
CEO Ted Sarandos recently announced that India is currently the fastest-growing market for the company.“This year was our most successful in India in terms of growth,” he said. When asked about Netflix’s success in the Indian market, Sarandos attributed it to the company’s localised approach. He explained that Netflix manages its operations locally in India, unlike many other companies based in California that try to manage India from a distance.

As first discovered by What’s On Netflix blog, you can search for content by genre beyond the usual Action, Drama, Sci-Fi, and the like.
In order to find TV shows or movies beyond the standard genre, you will need to type a specific URL into a browser. Each URL has a specific format: http://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/###
In the case of above URL, the “###” refers to the code related to a particular Netflix category. For example, the genre code 1390785 belongs to Netflix’s list of Marvel animated titles. The code 35800 belongs to steamy romantic movies while 11140 is for supernatural thrillers. If you are into Korean shows then the code for you is 67879.
