The upcoming OnePlus TVs will feature a DCI-P3 93 percent colour gamut suggesting that they will offer vivid display and high colour accuracy. However this is usually found in premium TVs, so it remains to be seen which model comes with this feature. Lau also revealed that the mid-range model will be equipped with the company’s Gamma Engine to enhance the picture quality. It includes a range of processing enhancements including super-resolution, dynamic resolution, MEMC, colour space mapping and noise reduction. Gamma Engine will help deliver sharper, cleaner and fluid videos. OnePlus says that it has worked with Dolby Labs so the upcoming TVs will come with Dolby Vision certification.
Right now, this is everything we know about the upcoming affordable OnePlus TVs. We expect the brand to reveal more features leading up to the launch event. As per past reports, a 32-inch and 43-inch model of OnePlus TV were reportedly spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website. OnePlus will compete against the likes of Xiaomi, Realme, Nokia and Motorola televisions in the Indian market by launching affordable TVs.
