The year 2022 is drawing to a close, and Christmas festivities have begun. The first week of December 2022, i.e., from December 5 to 11, 2022, has several Christmas releases like Dear Santa, Santa Who, Christmas is Cancelled, Christmas Wonderland, Sister Swap: Christmas series, etc., on Netflix, Lionsgate play, Disney+ Hotstar and other OTT platforms. While the audience, who love international content, can mark their calendars, this week will also be packed for fans of Indian OTT content.

Hindi version of the much-awaited film, Kantara, will also stream on Netflix this week. Besides this, films and shows like Faadu (SonyLIV), CAT (Netflix), Blurr (Zee5) Doctor G (Netflix) will also stream digitally.

Directed by filmmaker Kartiki Gonsalves, The Elephant Whisperer is a nature documentary revolving around how an orphan elephant is taken care by a couple. The Hindi version of the much-awaited Kannada blockbuster film, Kantara, is finally set for an OTT release. Fans have been requesting the makers to release it online. However, other versions of the film were released before the Hindi version. Netflix took to YouTube to share the date with a video featuring Rishab Shetty. The message said, “Rishab Shetty has finally answered the question “When is Kantara coming in Hindi?” and we couldn’t be more excited. Kantara is coming to Netflix in Hindi on December 9th.”

The trailer of Ashwini Iyer Tiwary’s next release, Faadu, has been lauded by the fans and critics alike. There are references of love and relationship connected to that wet sand this has left the audience intrigued.
