New RedmiBook With a “Full Screen” Design Set to Debut Alongside Redmi K30 on December 10

The Redmi K30 will not be the only new product that the Xiaomi sub-brand will be launching on December 10. It has announced on Weibo that a new RedmiBook family product will also be unveiled at the event.

As can be seen in the teaser images below, the upcoming RedmiBook will have a “full screen” design. Thanks to its full-screen design, the notebook is expected to have a “shocking” screen-to-body ratio. Additionally, Redmi claims the notebook will offer the “ultimate” price-to-performance ratio and also feature a thinner design.

Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand shared several Redmi K30 teasers yesterday, revealing the phone’s design ahead of its launch in China next week. The company has now released a few new teasers on Weibo, shedding some light on the hardware under the hood of the upcoming smartphone.

Alleged live images of the Redmi K30 that had appeared online last month had suggested the smartphone would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset. However, that isn’t actually going to be the case. The latest Redmi K30 teaser reveals the smartphone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor inside, featuring an integrated X52 modem.

The Snapdragon 765G’s X52 modem offers support for both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G networks, as well as download speeds of up to 3.7Gbps. In terms of graphics performance as well, the chipset is expected to be extremely impressive, thanks to the new Adreno 620 GPU.

Registrations for the Redmi K30 are set to open at 12 noon today on Xiaomi’s official store as well as other major leading retailers such as Tmall, Suning, and JD.com.
