New Samsung Galaxy M30 May Debut in Second Half of 2019

Samsung had a good start to the year 2019 in India with the introduction of Galaxy M-series of mid-range smartphones. The Galaxy M-lineup that include Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30 and the recently launch Galaxy M40 are exclusively available for purchase through online channels. The popularity of the M-series phones is such that company has set a target of $1 billion online sales in 2019. In order to achieve it, the company may launch newer M-series and A-series of smartphones in this year. A fresh report reveals that the South Korean company is reportedly planning to introduce a newer edition of the Galaxy M30 in the second half of the year.

Samsung Galaxy M30

The original Galaxy M30 that was unveiled in February has a model number of SM-M305F. According to Sammobile, the new edition of the M30 has a model number of SM-M307F. It has claimed that the SM-M307F Galaxy M30 will be a slightly upgraded version of the original. Hence, it won’t be arriving as a successor phone for M30.

There is a possibility that the upcoming Galaxy M30 model could be slotted between Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M40 smartphones. It remains to be seen whether the South Korean tech giant will be launching it as Galaxy M30s or another name.

The publication has added that the new M30 phone will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage models like the original smartphone. There is a possibility that the purported Galaxy M30s may come with the latest Android 9 Pie OS and One UI 1.1 user interface. Also, it could be equipped with improved rear cameras. The rest of its specs and design could be similar to the Galaxy M30.

Samsung Galaxy M30 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M30 that comes with a glossy polycarbonate rear houses a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution. The Infinity-U display design allows the phone to deliver 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Exynos 7904 SoC is at the helm of the device. The smartphone comes in two models such as 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.

Android 8.1 comes loaded on the Galaxy M30 smartphone. It features a microSD card slot for expanding storage. A fingerprint scanner is placed on the back of the smartphone. Its rear-facing triple camera setup has a 13-megapixel main sensor, a 5-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The front notch is the home to its 16-megapixel selfie camera. There is a 5,000mAh battery inside that the Galaxy M30 that comes with 15W fast charging through USB Type-C.

The 64GB and 128GB storage editions of the Galaxy M30 are priced at Rs 14,990 and Rs 17,990 respectively. It can be purchased in Black and Blue colour variants.
