HMD Global-owned Nokia will be launching new smartphones tomorrow. The brand is expected to announce the Nokia 8.2 5G, Nokia 5.2 and the entry-level Nokia 1.3. The Nokia 1.3 was spotted on Bluetooth SIG certification site last December. Now, the smartphone with model number TA-1207 has been leaked in a press render shared by tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks. It reveals the design of the upcoming device. The Nokia 1.3 will follow the Nokia 1 Plus that was launched last year, however, there was no Nokia 1.2.
According to the leaked render images, the display on Nokia 1.3 is surrounded by bezels on all sides. There is a waterdrop notch at the top while the bottom chin is thick with Nokia branding. The power and volume rocker buttons are located on the right side while the left side has a dedicated Google Assistant button. A 3.5mm headphone jack is located at the top. The Nokia 1.3 is seen in a Charcoal colour variant. The back of the phone features a single camera placed in the centre with LED flash below it. The upcoming smartphone doesn’t feature a physical fingerprint scanner. Apart from this, the renders don’t reveal any more specifications.
As per past leaks and rumours, the Nokia 1.3 is expected to feature a 5.8-inch display with HD+ resolution. The device may come with an 8MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera. The Nokia 1.3 is rumoured to be powered by Snapdragon 2xx series SoC paired with 1GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage. It will run the Android Go version of Android 10. The smartphone is expected to be backed by a 3,000mAh battery unit. The Nokia 1.3 is expected to be priced below $100 (~Rs 7,400).
In other news, Nokia released a budget smartphone called Nokia C2 running on Android Go a few days ago. The brand is also rolling out the latest Android 10 update to the Nokia 2.2.
