HMD Global teases launch of Nokia 2.3 in India

Last week, HMD Global had launched the Nokia 2.3 budget phone in the European markets with an affordable price tag of Euro 109 (~Rs 8,600). The smartphone offers some impressive features at competitive pricing such as large display, dual rear camera, a big battery, and the latest Android 10 OS. The phone arrived as the successor to the Nokia 2.2, which was launched in India in June this year. Soon after the Nokia 2.3 was unveiled in Europe, it was listed on Nokia’s website in India. Now, the handset’s launch in India seems to very close as the official Nokia Mobile India Twitter has released few teasers for its arrival.

As it can be seen in the new tweets with the #BadeKaamKaPhone hashtag, the Nokia 2.3 is touted to capture memorable shots and deliver long-lasting performance. The phone comes with a “Recommended Shot” feature that can capture 15 photos before and after hitting the shutter button and let the user select the best one.

Unfortunately, Nokia’s Twitter handle in India hasn’t revealed anything about the exact launch and pricing details of the Nokia 2.3 at the moment. However, the listing on the company’s website momentarily suggested that the smartphone will come with an affordable price tag of Rs 5,999 in the country. However, its worth mentioning that this pricing could just be a placeholder and the handset could be launched with a slightly higher price tag, as the Nokia 2.2 is currently retailing for Rs 5,999 in India. displayed below is the screenshot of the Nokia 2.3 price in India that was captured before it was taken down from the brand’s website.
