HMD Global, the brand that holds the license to make and sell Nokia devices, is all set to introduce the latest Nokia smartphones at an event on December 5th. One of the upcoming handsets from the company is expected to be the Nokia 2.3, which will arrive as a budget offering. Ahead of the launch, the Nokia 2.3 has been spotted in the database of a distributor. The leak has revealed a couple of Nokia 2.3 specifications, apart from the pricing of the smartphone. The phone will arrive as the successor to the Nokia 2.2, which was launched in June this year as one of the pocket-friendly devices from the brand.
The source claims that one of the variants of the Nokia 2.3 will offer 2GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. There will be other configurations of the smartphone as well. This particular model will cost Euro 93.99, which is roughly Rs 7,400 in the Indian currency. Lastly, the source suggests that one of the colour variants of the Nokia 2.3 will be green. Unfortunately, the latest leak hasn’t revealed any other specifications of the handset.
Nokia 2.3 specifications and features
As per the earlier reports, the Nokia 2.3 will offer a 6.1-inch display bearing HD resolution. The phone could be powered by a low-end Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The phone is said to offer Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, which will be an upgraded over Bluetooth 4.2 available on the Nokia 2.2. The smartphone is rumoured to offer dual cameras at the rear, a fingerprint sensor below it, a waterdrop notch above the screen, and a 3,920mAh battery. No other specifications of the Nokia 2.3 are available at the moment.
Talking about the Nokia 2.2, the budget offering features a 5.71-inch HD+ display, a MediaTek Helio A22 processor, up to 3GB of RAM, up to 32GB of storage, a single camera on the front and rear, and a 3,000mAh battery with regular charging support. The phone’s 2GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 5,999, while the 3GB RAM model costs Rs 6,999.
