The Nokia 2.4 and Nokia 3.4 low-budget phones were made official in global markets in September. While the Nokia 3.4 is now listed on the Nokia India and is likely to go official soon in India, HMD Global unveiled the Nokia 2.4 in the country today. The handset replaces the Nokia 2.3 smartphone that was unveiled back in December 2019.
Compared to its predecessor, the Nokia 2.4 has arrived with a bigger display with a tall aspect ratio, an improved processor, and a larger battery. A new addition on the device is the inclusion of a fingerprint scanner.
Nokia 2.4 specifications and features
The Nokia 2.4 houses a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a waterdrop notch. The display supports HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. A fingerprint scanner is available on the 3D nano-textured rear of the phone. The phone ships with a stock version of Android 10. The Finnish brand has confirmed that the device will be treated to two years of software updates and three years of monthly security updates.
The Nokia 2.4 has the Helio P22 chipset onboard along with 3GB of RAM. The handset comes with large internal storage of 64GB and it has a dedicated storage slot for adding up to 512GB microSD card. It has a 4,500mAh battery to keep the lights on. The big battery lacks support for fast charging.
The rear panel of the Nokia 2.4 has a dual-camera system that comprises of a 13-megapixel main camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Users can capture selfies using its 5-megapixel front camera. The phone comes with the usual connectivity features such as dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, microUSB, OTG, a dedicated button for accessing the Google Assistant, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Nokia 2.4 is priced at Rs 10,399 and is now up for pre-booking. It can be bought in colours like Fjord, Dusk, and Charcoal.
