Nokia has announced two new feature phones in the market today. The Nokia 220 4G and Nokia 105 are feature phones with QQVGA displays, physical keypads and affordable price tags. The Nokia 105 was introduced to the world in 2013. After being refreshed in 2015 with Series 30+ OS and in 2017 with a new design, this is the fourth iteration of the device. Nokia 220, on the other hand, was launched first in 2014 and it has now been launched with 4G support.
Nokia 220 4G and Nokia 105: Specifications and features
The Nokia 105 (2019) has been launched with a 1.77-inch QQVGA display with a resolution of 120 x 160 pixels. The phone weighs 74g and relies on Nokia Series 30+ OS. It features 4MB of RAM and 4MB of internal storage. Furthermore, it relies on an 800mAh battery and comes with support for micro-USB 1.1. It is also equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio and 2G connectivity. In some markets, the phone’s dual SIM variant will be available too. The phone will be available in Black, Blue and Pink colours.
As for the Nokia 220 4G, there is a 2.4-inch QQVGA display present with a resolution of 120 x 160 pixels. It runs Feature OS with 16MB of RAM and 24MB of storage. It includes a 1,200mAh battery with support for micro-USB 2.0. It is further laced with a rear VGA camera, Bluetooth 4.2, FM Radio, MP3 Player and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The phone features a nano-SIM slot and in some markets, it will come with dual-SIM as well. It has been announced in Black and Blue colours. It weighs 83g and features 4G connectivity.
Nokia 220 4G and Nokia 105: Price and availability
The Nokia 105 has been introduced at a price tag of €13 (~ Rs 1,000) while the Nokia 220 4G phone will cost €39 (~ Rs 3,000). The phones will be available for purchase in August.
