Nokia has geared up to launch two new Android smartphones — Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 — at the upcoming MWC event in Barcelona. The company has a press event to be held on Feb 26 where it will take wraps off the whole new line of Android smartphones. What’s even more exciting is that the company will also come up with an international variant Nokia 6. Thankfully, we can now expect the Nokia 6 to land in India soon. To recall, the Nokia 6 with 4GB RAM and Android 7.0 Nougat operating system launched in China last month.
In other news, the Nokia 3 a.k.a Nokia E1’s [leaked] specifications have made it to a website called Nokiapoweruser. If the report appeared on the website is to believe, Nokia 3 comes with either a 5.2-inch or 5.3-inch display featuring 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution. The device is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chip clocked at 1.4GHz and paired with Adreno 308 GPU for graphics. It packs a 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in memory. We are not aware of its storage expandability just yet, though.
The Nokia 3 houses a 13MP primary rear-facing camera as well as a 5MP secondary camera up front for selfies and video calling. As far as the pricing is concerned, the Nokia 3 is said to cost €149 that converts roughly at Rs 10,600. It is expected to go on sale in internationally somewhere between March and April. The Nokia 5, on the other hand, is said to feature a 5.2-inch HD screen and 12MP camera. Powering it would be Snapdragon 430 processor and 2GB RAM. It will reportedly cost €199 (approximately Rs 14,150).
