Nokia 4.2 price in India dropped once again, now available for Rs 6,999

HMD Global introduced the Nokia 4.2 smartphone in India in May this year. The phone was launched in the country for Rs 10,990, but has received multiple price drops. Now, the company has once again dropped the price of the Nokia 4.2 in India. This time, the brand has reduced the price by Rs 2,500. The handset will now be available in the country for Rs 6,999. The Nokia 4.2 is now among the most affordable Nokia smartphones to offer minimal bezels, a waterdrop notch above the screen, and a dual primary camera setup at the rear.

To recall the specifications and features, the Nokia 4.2 comes with an appealing design featuring a glass back panel and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone’s power button acts as the notification light and the handset has a dedicated button to trigger the Google Assistant. The Nokia 4.2 is an Android One offering that boots stock version of Android 9 Pie and will be getting the Android 10 update in the near future.

As for the other specs, the Nokia 4.2 comes with a 5.71-inch FullView 2.5D curved glass display bearing a resolution of 1,520 x 720 pixels. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor, which is aided by the Adreno 505 graphics. The handset is fitted with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage, which can be further increased by inserting a microSD card.

In the camera department, the Nokia 4.2 offers a 13MP primary camera on the back, which is aided by a 2MP secondary shooter. For selfies and video calling, the device has an 8MP camera on the front. The connectivity features are standard including 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, a micro-USB port, and A-GPS. A 3,000mAh battery completes the list of the specifications of the Nokia 4.2.
