HMD Global, the parent company of Nokia launched the Nokia 5.1 Plus in India back in September 2018. The smartphone was initially introduced in a 3GB + 32GB version. Today, the company has announced that the device has been launched in two more variants with 4GB and 6GB of RAM respectively.

The 3GB + 32GB Nokia 5.1 Plus is now priced at Rs 9,999 after receiving a recent price cut. As for the new variants, the 4GB + 64GB model will retail at Rs 14,499. The higher 6GB + 64GB variant bears a price tag of Rs 16,499. As a part of launch offer, Airtel customers can avail cashback worth Rs 2,000 and 240GB data over 12 months on plans of Rs 199, Rs 249 and Rs 448.
As for availability, the Nokia 5.1 Plus can be purchased starting February 7th on Nokia.com/phones. The device will also be available across offline retail outlets starting February 12th. The Nokia 5.1 Plus is available in three colour variants – Gloss Black, Gloss White and Gloss Midnight Blue.
The new variants of Nokia 5.1 Plus come with the same technical specifications as the 3GB variant. The device features a 5.8-inch notched display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It sports a dual rear camera setup of 13MP + 5MP sensors and an 8MP front shooter for selfies.
Under the hood, the 5.1 Plus houses a MediaTek Helio P60 SoC. Both the new RAM variants offer 64GB of internal memory expandable up to 400GB via microSD card. The Nokia 5.1 Plus is an Android One device and runs on the latest Android 9 Pie out of the box.
