Nokia is hosting an event on February 23rd at MWC in Barcelona, Spain. The brand is expected to announce new smartphones including the Nokia 8.2 5G, entry-level phones, and a feature phone. Now a Nokia smartphone codenamed ‘Captain America’ has surfaced online. It is expected to be the Nokia 5.2. The leak comes from notable gadget tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks, and it reveals photos, specifications and price of the device. The hands-on images of the Nokia 5.2 reveal a familiar design.
In the front, the Nokia 5.2 features a waterdrop notch and Nokia branding on the bottom chin. The volume rocker and power buttons are located on the right side. We expect a dedicated Google Assistant button on the left. The back panel of the Nokia 5.2 shows a circular camera module housing four sensors and an LED flash in the center. A physical fingerprint scanner is located below the cameras. There is a USB port located at the bottom and a wider earpiece which may double up as a loudspeaker. The Nokia 5.2 is expected to feature a frosted glass or plastic back panel.
Blass claims that the Nokia 5.2 will come with 6GB RAM and offer 64GB internal storage. The phone will be reportedly powered by a Snapdragon 632 chipset. The rest of the specifications are not known at the moment. The Nokia 5.2 is tipped to cost $180 (~Rs 12,900) and might be announced on March 4th. Nokia hasn’t confirmed any details regarding the Nokia 5.2. We will have to wait until Nokia’s MWC event to know more.
