Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 receive permanent price cuts up to Rs 3,100

HMD Global, the parent company of Nokia had launched the Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 in India back in September and October respectively. Now both the smartphones have received a permanent price cut up to Rs 3,100. According to 91mobiles, the new price tag is reflected on e-commerce platforms Amazon, Flipkart as well as the Nokia India website. The Nokia 6.2 comes in a single 4GB + 64GB variant while the Nokia 7.2 is available in 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 64GB options. Both the smartphones are mid-range and a part of the Android One program. 

The Nokia 6.2 was originally available for Rs 15,999. Now after the price cut, the smartphone can be purchased for Rs 12,499. The base variant of Nokia 7.2 now retails for Rs 15,499 instead of Rs 18,499. The price of the 6GB + 64GB model is down to Rs 17,099 from Rs 19,599.

Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 specifications:

The Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 share most of the same specifications. The smartphones feature a 6.3-inch PureView display bearing an FHD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dedicated Google Assistant button on both devices. The Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 are backed by a 3,500mAh battery unit with 10W standard charging and run on Android 9 Pie out of the box. Being a part of Android One, the smartphones are guaranteed to receive two years of future OS and security upgrades. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Type-C, NFC and 3.5mm jack. 

The Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 are differentiated in terms of hardware and camera setup. The former is equipped with a Snapdragon 636 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The latter houses a Snapdragon 660 processor paired with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. On the camera front, the Nokia 6.2 sports a triple camera setup of 16MP + 5MP + 8MP sensors and an 8MP front shooter. The Nokia 7.2 comes with a 48MP + 5MP + 8MP rear cameras and a 20MP selfie snapper. 

The Nokia 6.2 is available in Ceramic Black and Ice Blue colour options, while the Nokia 7.2 comes in Charcoal and Cyan Green hues.
