Nokia’s first Android-powered smartphone phone called Nokia 6 is now official. HMD Global, the company behind manufacturing Nokia phones, has announced its latest offering to be available in China. The phone flaunts an aluminum alloy unibody design and a front-mounted fingerprint scanner, which doubles up as the home button.
Moving on, Nokia 6 has a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display to offer with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 2.5D curved glass. Inside is an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 64-bit processor clocked at 1.5GHz and paired with Adreno 505 GPU for graphics rendering and processing.

Nokia 6 further embraces a whopping 4GB LPDDR3 RAM for real-time processing as well as 64GB internal memory, expandable up to 128GB using microSD. It is based on the most recent Android 7.0 Nougat operating system while offering two SIM slots. It features dual speakers with smart dual amplifiers and Dolby Atmos.
In terms of optics, Nokia 6 houses a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, and f/2.0 aperture. Up front, it sports an 8MP front-facing camera with 84-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture. It packs in a 3000mAh battery and connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB OTG.
Available in black colour option, Nokia 6 costs 1699 yuan (approximately Rs 16,741). It will go on sale in the first half of this year.
