HMD Global had launched the Nokia 7.2 in India in September last year. The smartphone is part of the Android One program. At the time of launch, it was running on Android 9 Pie out of the box. Now six months later, the device has received the latest Android 10 update. The Nokia 7.2 joins the list of six other smartphones in the brand’s portfolio that are running on Android 10 including the Nokia 8.1, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 2.2.
The Android 10 update includes the March security patch and weighs 1.5GB in size. It brings new features like system-wide dark mode, smart replies, gesture navigation, privacy controls, focus mode and family link. As is common with software updates, the rollout is in a phased manner so users may need to wait for a few days to receive an update notification on their device. Users can also manually check the for update by going to Settings > System > System Update.

The Nokia 7.2 sports a 6.2-inch FHD+ display with a waterdrop notch and HDR support. The device flaunts a circular triple camera module on the back along with a fingerprint scanner. There is also a dedicated Google Assistant button. The smartphone is available in Charcoal and Cyan Green colours. The camera setup on the Nokia 7.2 comprises of 48MP + 5MP + 8MP sensors and a 20MP selfie snapper,
The Nokia 7.2 is equipped with a Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB storage with support for a microSD card slot. The device draws its power from a 3,500mAh battery unit. It features dual SIM slots, a USB-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Nokia 7.2 4GB + 64GB variant retails at Rs 15,499 while the 6GB + 64GB option carries a price tag of Rs 17,099. The smartphone can be purchased from e-commerce platforms Amazon, Flipkart and Nokia India website.
