Nokia 7 Plus Images and Specifications Leaked

HMD global recently released the Nokia 6 (2018) and is now gearing up to launch the Nokia 7 Plus. The Nokia 7 Plus images have been revealed through press releases which shed some light on what we can expect from the upcoming smartphone.

In the design department, the phone will share some traits with its sibling, the Nokia 6 (2018). It will feature a bezel-less display having an 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen itself will be a 6-inch FullHD panel having a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. This will be enhanced with Corning Gorilla glass protection for added durability. The body of the phone will be a metal-ceramic sandwich similar to its sibling.

Coming to its hardware, the phone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 630 processor backed by 4GB of RAM. This coupled with the stock and bloatware-free Android experience should ensure that the phone is snappy and great at multitasking. In terms of storage, the phone will ship with 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded through a microSD card.

For the shutterbugs, the phone as per the leaked images by NPU will feature a dual-rear camera setup. In addition to that, this camera setup will be made by Carl Zeiss, which is a renowned brand popular for making high-quality camera lenses. This setup will comprise of a 13MP + 12 MP combination with support for 2x optical zoom. The selfie camera will be a 16-megapixel sensor.

Similar to all Nokia phones launched last year, the Nokia 7 Plus will run a close to stock Android user interface. It will also come with Android Oreo out of the box and a promised upgrade to Android P next year. Among the additional software features, the phone should come with the Bothie Camera Mode that allows capturing of images and videos from both cameras simultaneously.

In terms of connectivity, the phone will offer all the conventional solutions including WiFi, Bluetooth, 2G, 3G, and 4G with VoLTE. The phone will draw its power from a decently sized 3,000mAh battery with support for fast charging.

With these specifications and features, the Nokia 7 Plus appears to be a well-rounded smartphone. The price of the phone hasn’t been revealed yet but it should cost somewhere around the Rs. 25,000 mark. The phone will be revealed officially at MWC which will be held in Barcelona later this month.
