Various reports have revealed that HMD Global is working on a Nokia 9 PureView flagship phone that features a penta-lens camera setup. Recent rumors have claimed that the company will be announcing it in early 2019. An active Nokia community from Russia with Twitter handle @nokia_anew has claimed that there is only one month remaining for the launch of Nokia 9 PureView. It further claimed that the Finnish firm will be launching the Nokia 9 PureView by the last week of January.

The image of the Nokia 9 PureView shown in the above tweet matches leaked photos of its front panel that surfaced earlier. The handset seems to be equipped with an 18:9 aspect ratio display.
The Nokia 9 PureView may feature an OLED screen with Quad HD+ resolution. The upper bezel of the phone features Nokia branding, a prominent selfie camera, a earpiece and a pair of unidentified sensors.
The Snapdragon 845 chipset is expected to power the handset. It may feature up to 8GB of RAM. The handset will be loaded with Android 9 Pie. Like the Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphone that was announced at the beginning of this year, the Nokia 9 PureView will likely not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The above render showcase the rear and front design of the upcoming Nokia 9 PureView smartphone. The ZEISS-certified camera setup on its rear may include RGB, monochrome, wide-angle, telephoto and depth sensors. The absence of the fingerprint scanner from the rear side of the phone suggests that it will be the first ever phone with an in-screen fingerprint scanner from the company. The Nokia 9 PureView may feature a 4,150mAh battery to keep the lights on. Apart from fast charging, the handset may also support wireless charging.
Shown above is the very first live shot of the Nokia 9 PureView smartphone that had surfaced few months ago. It not only reveals the penta-lens setup on its rear, but also the TA-1094 model number. The same model number was approved by the Bluetooth SIG authority earlier in this week. Generally, it takes nearly a month for a device to get unveiled after it bags Bluetooth SIG approval. Hence, it is being speculated that the Nokia 9 PureView may get announced in the last week of the coming month. If the January end arrival rumor of the handset is true, the Finnish firm may soon release an official statement to confirm its launch soon.
