The Nokia 9 PureView has been finally launched in India after a long delay, following its announcement earlier this year at the MWC 2019. After Nokia officially teased the arrival of the smartphone earlier this year, it has now announced the release date and Nokia 9 PureView price in India. Notably, the Nokia 9 PureView is the first to feature five cameras on the rear panel and the first from the brand to sport an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phonemaker has also announced a slew of offers and gifts for the buyers to make up for the delay in the launch.

The Nokia 9 PureView will be made available in a Midnight Blue colour option and will be up for grabs on Nokia’s official online store from July 10th. The flagship will start selling on Flipkart and across top mobile retail outlets in India from July 17th. The Nokia 9 PureView price in India has been set at Rs 49,999, and it is bundled with complimentary Nokia 705 Earbuds worth Rs 9,999 for a limited period. Those who make the purchase on the online store of Nokia will also get a gift card worth Rs 5,000 apart from the free earbuds.
Nokia is also offering 10 percent cashback for those who make the purchase using HDFC Bank Credit cards, Debit cards and durable loans. This offer will be valid till August 31st.

To recap, the Nokia 9 PureView comes with a 5.99-inch QHD+ pOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The screen flaunts Nokia PureDisplay technology, which includes HDR 10 support to enjoy high resolution content on on the device from streaming providers like YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. Driving the performance of the smartphone is a generation-old Snapdragon 845 SoC backed by 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. In the software department, the Android One flagship boots the Android 9 Pie in its stock avatar.
Coming to the imaging department, the Nokia 9 PureView flaunts a five camera setup on the back. These include two 12MP RGB sensors and three 12MP monochrome lenses, all of which feature autofocus and f/1.8 aperture. The Nokia 9 PureView is designed to capture all photos in HDR and images captured at the same time by all five cameras are merged into one 12MP image. The flagship also lets you capture RAW images in DNG format, which can be edited on phone using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. You get a 20MP shooter on the front for selfies and video calling.
Lastly, a 3,320mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging support rounds up the spec sheet of the flagship.
