The Nokia C01 Plus has launched in Russia. The appearance and specs of this entry-level offering is similar to the Nokia C1 Plus, which was announced back in December 2020.

The C01 Plus comes with a durable and splash-resistant chassis. Some of its other highlights include an HD+ resolution display, an LED flash assisted front-facing camera, and a removable battery.

The Nokia C01 Plus has a 5.45-inch LCD panel that offers HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,440 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The thick bezel at the top has a 5-megapixel selfie camera and an LED flash.

The Unisoc SC9863A powers the Nokia C01 Plus with 1GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 16GB and a dedicated storage slot that supports up to 128GB of microSD card. The phone runs Android 11 Go edition. The back panel of the C01 Plus features a 5-megapixel main camera with LED flash and HDR support.

The C01 Plus is backed by a 3,000mAh removable battery, which supports 5W charging. The device offers connectivity features like dual-SIM support, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, microUSB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It does not feature a fingerprint scanner but carries support for face unlock.

The Nokia C01 Plus seems to feature the same display, processor, RAM, and cameras that are found on the C1 Plus. The only noticeable difference between the two phones is that the C1 Plus has a 2,500mAh battery, whereas the C01 Plus houses a bigger 3,000mAh unit.

The Nokia C01 Plus is listed with a price tag of RUB 6,490 (~Rs 6,600) in Russia. It comes in colours like Purple and Blue. There is no word on whether this phone will be arriving in India.
