Nokia G11 Plus has been launched in Europe. It is an enhanced edition of the Nokia G11, which was announced in April this year. The Plus model features a waterdrop notch display with support for a high refresh rate. The smartphone promises a 3-day battery life.
For photography, the Nokia G11 Plus features a 50-megapixel dual-camera system. According to Nokia, the handset will be treated to two Android OS upgrades and three years of monthly security updates. The Nokia G11 Plus has a 6.517 IPS LCD panel that produces an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the hood, it features the Unisoc T606 chipset and 4GB of RAM.
The G11 Plus comes pre-installed with the Android 12 OS and offers 64GB of native storage. For additional storage, it has a dedicated microSD card slot. A fingerprint scanner is available on the rear shell of the G11 Plus. It also carries support for face unlock.
It has an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls. The device’s back panel has a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth-sensing unit, and an LED flash. The other features that are available on the device include dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
As compared to the G11, the G11 Plus mainly offers an improved main camera. The rest of the specs are identical on both devices.
Nokia G11 Plus price and availability
The Nokia G1 is priced at €160 (~Rs 13,250). It comes in two colours: Lake Blue and Charcoal Gray. The Nokia G11 was not released in India. Hence, it is unclear whether its Plus edition will be made available in the country.
