The Nokia G21 India launch has been tipped. The handset is expected to arrive as the company’s first smartphone this year in India. As the moniker suggests, it will be succeeding the Nokia G20 that debuted with a price tag of Rs 12,999 back in July 2021 in India.

The Nokia G21 has reportedly bagged FCC certification, which indicates that it could be heading soon to other markets apart from India. At the same time, the G21 has been found listed on a retailer site in Russia through which its alleged specifications have been revealed. It is likely to arrive with specs like an HD+ display, 50-megapixel triple cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery

According to the tipster, the Nokia G21 will be debuting in India in February. He added the device will be equipped with a 50-megapixel triple camera unit and 4GB of RAM.

According to Nokiapoweruser, the Nokia phone with TA-1418 will be launching with the Nokia G21 moniker. The model numbers such as TA-1404, TA-1412, TA-1415, TA-1405, and TA-1401 that have been spotted along with TA-1418 at the FCC certification platform are also said to be associated with the upcoming Nokia G21 handset.

The FCC documents have the front and rear images of the phone (TA-1412 variant). It seems that the handset is equipped with a waterdrop notch display on the front and an LED-flash assisted triple camera unit on the back. The publication added that the phone is now listed on a Russian retailer site with all its major specifications.

The retailer listing reveals that the Nokia G21 will come with a 6.5-inch display that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. It will be powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor, which could be the Unisoc T610 chip. The handset is expected to arrive in variants like 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage.

The listing further reveals that it will be fitted with an 8-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. The handset will house a 5,000mAh battery, which will carry support for fast charging.
