It seems like Nokia is planning to hit the market with full throttle. The news of Nokia making a comeback at MWC in January 2017 with an Android smartphone is already making rounds on the internet. Now, just another Android smartphone from the Finnish company is spotted on GeekBench.
The Android smartphone dubbed as Nokia Pixel has surfaced just a week ago which will be powered by Snapdragon 200 and expected to run on Android Nougat. It would be interesting to see whether Pixel is just a codename or Nokia is planning to stick with it.
On coming to the specs, the device will be powered by a dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.19GHz. This is a much older processor which was launched two years ago in 2014. It will run on Android Nougat and features 1GB of RAM. There is no word about the screen size, battery or camera yet.
On Geekbench listing, it scored 404 and 661 on the single-core and multi-core tests respectively. All the specs and Geekbench score clearly indicate that this is an entry-level smartphone. We’re speculating the device to be priced under Rs 5000, if it makes its way to the market.
Earlier, a high-end smartphone from Nokia was also surfaced on Geekbench dubbed as Nokia D1C. The images of Nokia D1C were also spotted online few weeks ago. The images revealed the device to be in candy bar shaped dipped in gold, white and black colour. The gold colour variant is believed to flaunt a metal unibody design with a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button. However, the black and white colour variant lacks the fingerprint scanner.
