A new Nokia phone will be launched on July 27th. The announcement was shared by the Finnish brand on its social channels. It was accompanied by a photo of the smartphone’s back panel that reads “With our newest Nokia phone you will never need a case again 27.07.2021.” This hints that the upcoming offering could be a rugged device.
Nokia hasn’t explicitly revealed the name of the upcoming smartphone but it is speculated to be the Nokia XR20 that has been doing the rounds on the internet.

The image shared by Nokia shows a circular rear camera module with ZEISS branding. The volume rocker and a power button embedded with a fingerprint scanner are on the left side while there is an additional button that could be a dedicated Google Assistant key on the right. We will know more about the upcoming Nokia phone as we get closer to the launch date.
Nokia XR20 specifications and features
The Nokia XR20 has been spotted on multiple certification websites including WiFi Alliance, Bluetooth SIG as well as Geekbench, and a Russian e-commerce site.
As per the listings, the Nokia XR20 is expected to come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ screen. It will feature a dual-camera setup of 48MP and 13MP sensors and an 8MP front-facing selfie snapper. The smartphone is tipped to be equipped with Snapdragon 480 chipset with support for 5G. It will pack up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The device will reportedly be powered by a 4,630mAh battery cell.
The Nokia XR20 is expected to feature dual-SIM slots, 4G, USB-C port, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and NFC.
