Nokia Solo Buds+ certified by Bluetooth SIG, launch seems imminent

The Nokia Solo Buds+ has passed Bluetooth SIG certification. The Bluetooth headset is listed with model number SB-201. The listing doesn’t reveal any key specifications of the upcoming offering except that it will support Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. However, the listing does mention that the Solo Buds+ willbe a mono Bluetooth headset. A mono Bluetooth headset has one earpiece and a microphone.

The Nokia Solo Buds+ were spotted on the FCC certification site recently. It revealed an old-school classic single earpiece design, which has been corroborated by the listing on Bluetooth SIG. The listings indicate that Nokia may launch the upcoming Solo Buds+ soon.

As per the FCC listing, the upcoming Nokia Solo Buds+ looks similar to the brand’s old wireless headset with a single earpiece that was ideal for business users. There is a big circular multifunctional button at the top and a earhook to keep the earphone glued to the ear. The volume rocker buttons are located on the right side. 

The user manual of Nokia Solo Buds+ reveals that users can play/pause music, answer/end calls, and activate voice commands by holding down the multifunctional button for a few seconds.
