Nokia X10, X20 with Android 11, Snapdragon 480 5G launched: price, specifications

The Nokia X10 and Nokia X20 smartphones have launched today alongside other phones from HMD Global such as Nokia C10, C20, G10, and G20. The newly announced X-series devices are the most affordable 5G-ready smartphones from the Finnish brand.

The Nokia X10 and X20 are flanked with up to 64-megapixel quad cameras with ZEISS optics that offer a full suite of editing tools. Both phones offer a high screen-to-body ratio as they are equipped with a punch-hole display. Like other Nokia phones, the X10 and X20 offer a stock Android experience.

The Nokia X10 and X20 feature a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display that offers Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 450nits brightness, 82 percent NTSC colour gamut, and flicker-free dimming. The Snapdragon 480 5G mobile platform with up to 8GB of RAM can be found under the hood of the X10 and X20 smartphones.

Both phones come with up to 128GB of internal storage. These devices offer users a shared SIM slot for adding a microSD card. Besides offering a stock experience of Android 11, the X10 and X20 are promised to receive three years of OS upgrades and security updates. A dedicated hardware key for accessing the Google Assistant can be found on both smartphones.

Apart from RAM and storage options, the Nokia X10 and X20 mainly differ in the camera department. While the X10 gets an 8-megapixel front camera, the X20 sports a 32-megapixel selfie snapper. The quad-camera system of the X10 has a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

On the other hand, the X20 has a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a pair of 2-megapixel lenses for depth effects and macro shots.

A 4,470mAh battery powers the Nokia X10 and X20, and they are equipped with support for 18W fast charging. Both smartphones offer other common features like dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C, face unlock, a side-facing fingerprint sensor, OZO Audio support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IP52 rated water-repellent construction.

Nokia X10 and Nokia X20 pricing and availability

The Nokia X10 is scheduled to release in June in Europe with a €310 (~Rs 27,500) starting price and colours like Forest and Snow. On the other side, the X20 has a starting price of €310 (~Rs 31,000) and it will be available in hues like Midnight Sun and Nordic Blue.
