The Nokia XR20, Nokia C30, and Nokia 6310 have been launched. The XR20 is a life-proof smartphone that comes with a ruggedised construction. In terms of specs, it appears to be a variant of the Nokia X20 handset, which was announced in April in global markets.
The Nokia C30 is an entry-level smartphone that features a huge display and a massive battery. The device runs on Android 11 Go Edition. The Nokia 6310, on the other hand, is a renewed version of the Nokia 6310 candybar phone from the past.
Nokia XR20 specifications and features
The Nokia XR20 features a Gorilla Glass Victus protection for the display. It is an IP68 rated dustproof and water-resistant device. The MIL-STD-810H certification ensures that the XR20 can withstand drops from 1.8 meters. It can also remain undamaged in extreme temperatures of +55 to -22 degrees Celsius. The rugged phone is built using rubberised and sturdy materials. It features a side-facing fingerprint sensor, and its top edge has a hardware key that can be configured for any action or app.
Coming to the specs, the Nokia XR20 has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display, which can be used with wet fingers or gloves. The Snapdragon 480 powers the device with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. For more storage, it has a microSD card slot. The company has promised that XR20 users will be getting three years of OS upgrades and four years of monthly security updates.
The XR20 has a 4,630mAh battery that supports 18W wired and 15W wireless charging. It has a selfie camera of 8-megapixel, and its rear camera setup has a 48-megapixel primary lens and a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera. It comes with other features like a 3-axis e-compass, a barometer, loudspeakers with OZO playback technology, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Nokia C30 specifications and features
The Nokia C30 has a 6.82-inch LCD display that offers an HD+ resolution. For selfies, it has a 5-megapixel unit placed within the teardrop notch on the front. The round-shaped camera housing on its back features a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens. The rear shell also features a traditional fingerprint scanner.
The Unisoc SC9863A chip is present under the hood of the Nokia C30. The device offers 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of storage. For additional storage, it has a dedicated microSD card slot. It comes preinstalled with Android 11 Go Edition, and it is packed with a 6,000mAh battery that can last for up to three days. Unfortunately, it lacks support for fast charging.
Nokia 6310 specifications and features
The 2021 edition of the Nokia 6310 has a design similar to that of the classic 6310. It sports a candybar form factor with a large-sized display, a numeric keyboard, and a D-pad for navigation. The Nokia 6310 has a 2.8-inch colour display that offers a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels and runs on the Series 30+ platform.
It is fuelled by the modest Unisoc 631F processor, 8MB of RAM, and a 1,150mAh battery. The device is equipped with 16MB of internal storage, and it offers a microSD card slot for additional storage. For photography, it has a 0.3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It is good to know that the has added support for connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS on the device.
Nokia XR20, C30, and 6310 pricing and availability
The Nokia XR20 is priced at €499 (~Rs 43,800) in Europe and it comes in Ultra Blue and Granite Grey colours. The company will be releasing the XR20 in global markets on July 27th.
The Nokia C30 costs €99 (~Rs 8,700) and it comes in three colours like White, Dark Grey, and Green. The Nokia 6310 carries a pricing of €40 (~Rs 3,500) and it can be purchased in colours like Dark Green, Yellow, Blac, and Light Blue (India only). While the 6310 is expected to release in India, there is no word on whether the XR20 and C30 will make it to India.
