- The Nothing Ear 1 will launch in India on July 27th
- They will be available for purchase from Flipkart
- Key specifics of the upcoming TWS earphones remain a mystery
The Nothing Ear 1 TWS earphones will be launched in India on July 27th at 6.30 pm IST. Recently, the brand had announced its availability in the country through e-commerce platform Flipkart. The launch of the Ear 1 in India will coincide with that of the global launch.
The Nothing Ear 1 were supposed to debut this month but the launch was delayed. Nothing was founded by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei earlier this year in January. There have been plenty of teasers and rumours about the brand’s first product but now we get the official launch date of the same.
Nothing Ear 1 to launch in India next month
Flipkart now has a dedicated microsite for the Nothing Ear 1 with a short video teaser hinting at a transparent design. The brand remains tight-lipped on the key specifics of the upcoming earphones.
As for its India plans, Nothing will offer 205 service points across 171 cities in the country. It will also offer pick up and drop service in locations where there is no service center.
The Nothing Ear 1 are expected to compete against the likes of Apple, Sony, Samsung, and others in the TWS market. Going by the past reports, the upcoming offering has been developed in collaboration with Teenage Engineering. They are tipped to feature a stem design with minimal aesthetics and no fancy branding. This will likely be the key differentiator compared to other TWS earphones.
We can expect more information on Nothing Ear 1 to surface in the coming weeks leading up to the launch event.
