The Nothing ear 1 price in India has been announced. Last week, the company confirmed that the TWS earbuds will cost GBP 99 (~Rs 10,200) in the UK. This resulted in rumours suggesting that the Ear 1 may cost around Rs 10,000 in India. However, Nothing India VP and General Manager Manu Sharma has revealed that the earphones will be priced at just Rs 5,999 in the country.
In an interview with YouTuber Technical Guruji, Sharma not only confirmed the Ear 1’s price for India, but also revealed what to expect from it. As it is known, besides offering an impressive audio output, the Ear 1 will be arriving with an enticing transparent design.
Nothing Ear 1 design and features
Sharma said that the design will be one of the major aspects of the ear 1 as there are numerous TWS earbuds in the market with a similar design. For designing the Ear 1, the company has partnered with the Swedish firm Teenage Engineering, which is known for industrial design. Hence, the company believes there is an opportunity to shake up the industry by offering earbuds with a differentiated design language.
The firm previously confirmed that the Nothing ear 1 TWS earbuds will come with three high-definition microphones for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The company is yet to confirm the other specs of the Ear 1.
Nothing’s first earbuds are expected to rival the likes of Google Pixel Buds A and and Samsung Galaxy Buds. In a recent interview, Nothing’s co-founder Carl Pei said that the Ear 1 will be similar to the Apple AirPods Pro in terms of features.
The Nothing ear 1 will be announced at 6.30pm on July 27th in India and global markets. It will be available for purchase through Flipkart.
