Nothing ear (1)’s next sale date has been confirmed. The TWS earbuds will be available for purchase for the second time at 12pm on August 31st in the country. On August 17th, the company carried out its first pre-orders through Flipkart. Founder Carl Pei revealed that 4,800 units of the earbuds were sold out in less than two minutes.

Announced in July, the ear (1) is the first product from Nothing, a startup brand that was established by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei. The popularity of the ear (1) suggests that it may receive a similar from consumers in its upcoming second sale.

The Nothing ear (1) are priced at Rs 5,999 in India. Customers with an ICICI Bank credit card can avail it for Rs 5,499 with a Rs 500 discount. In addition, ear (1) buyers will be provided a six-month subscription of Gaana Plus music streaming service for free.

Nothing ear (1) specifications and features

The ear (1) sports an in-ear design with a translucent stem, which exposes its microphones and circuit boards. It comes with a transparent carrying case, which features a USB Type-C port for charging.

The first TWS earbuds by Nothing offer 11.6mm dynamic drivers, and they supports AAC and SBC audio codecs. Each earbud features three high-definition microphones for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). A fully charged ear (1) can offer up to 34 hours of battery life with ANC off and up to 24 hours of battery life with ANC on.

The ear (1) support touch gestures for controlling music and are equipped with an in-ear detection feature. They have Bluetooth 5.2 onboard for establishing a connection with iOS and Android devices. Other features of the ear (1) include fast pairing, transparent mode, IXP4 rated sweat and splash resistance.
