Nothing Ear (2) renders have been leaked by Smartprix in partnership with reputed tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer. Back in October 2022, 91mobiles shared the first renders of the Ear (2). However, the high-resolution renders that have surfaced now reveal the design changes that will be available on Ear (1)’s successor.
The new images show that Ear (2) will retain the semi-transparent design of its predecessor while making a few changes. The leak also reveals that the upcoming TWS earbuds will offer some new features for an enhanced audio experience. Here is a look at all the details that have surfaced in the latest leak.

Nothing Ear (2) renders
As can be seen in the leaked renders, Nothing has repositioned the noise-cancelling microphone on the Ear (2). It was placed at the top of the predecessor model, but it will be available near the red colour marking on the front. In addition, there are some minor changes in the internal components, which are highlighted in yellow and orange. Also, the log on the new model now reads “Nothing ear (2).”
Nothing Ear (2) key features
The detailed specifications of Nothing Ear (2) are not yet available. However, the report reveals that the new TWS earbuds will have some new additions, such as personalised ANC, advanced EQ, find earbuds, transparency mode, and dual connectivity.
By using personalised ANC features, Nothing Ear (2) users would be able to customise the intensity of noise cancellation to suit their preferences. Similarly, the advanced EQ feature may allow users to customise the equaliser according to their preferences.
The Ear (1) already carried support for Find My Earbud and transparency mode. It appears that these features may arrive with some improvements in the successor edition. The dual connectivity feature will possibly allow Ear (2) users to connect to two devices at the same time.
Nothing Ear (2) launch timeframe
The Nothing Ear (2) is expected to launch in the second half of 2023. The company’s CEO Carl Pei recently confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2) will debut later this year.
