Nothing Launcher is finally here. It was announced last month alongside the Nothing phone (1) and Nothing OS. The Nothing Launcher is currently in the beta phase and is a preview of the Carl Pei-helmed company’s operating system.

Nothing Launcher is a preview of Nothing OS

The Nothing Launcher is a preview of the first iteration of the company’s Nothing OS. It will allow users to experience Android with Nothing’s iconic design language. The launcher will offer the ability to enlarge app folders and app icons so that they are visible. It comes with bespoke clock and weather widgets that are said to use the same dot matrix font as the company’s logo. Nothing is also offering two wallpapers and three ringtones tuned by Teenage Engineering. The content can be accessed here.

Nothing Launcher (Beta) compatibility and how to download

The Nothing Launcher (Beta) is compatible with Samsung Galaxy S21, S22, Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 6 series. It is also coming to OnePlus smartphones soon. The personalisation app weighs 5.8MB in size and requires Android 8.0 OS and above. 

To download and use the Nothing Launcher (Beta), follow the steps below

  • Go to Google Play Store and search for Nothing Launcher (Beta) or directly visit this link
  • Go to phone’s Settings > Apps > Default apps > Default Home app
  • Select Nothing Launcher
