The upcoming Phone (2) is set to replace its predecessor, the Nothing Phone (1), which was officially announced on July 12th, 2022. The previous model, featuring the Snapdragon 778G chip, was positioned as an upper-midrange smartphone. In contrast, the Phone (2) will be equipped with a more robust Snapdragon 8-series chipset, indicating a higher level of performance. Nothing has officially confirmed some of the key specifications of the Nothing Phone (2). It will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that probably supports an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will run on the Nothing OS 2.0-based Android 13 OS. The device is already confirmed to receive three years of Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates.

The Phone (2) will come equipped with an aluminium frame and pack a 4,700mAh battery. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Unconfirmed reports claim that the device will be priced at around Rs 40,000. It will be sold via Flipkart.
