Nubia NX625J With Snapdragon 710 and 6GB RAM Appears on Geekbench Database

ZTE sub-brand Nubia unveiled its latest flagship gaming smartphone, the Red Magic 3 in China in April. It now appears the company is working on a new mid-range Android smartphone. A mysterious unannounced Nubia smartphone with model number NX625J has surfaced on the Geekbench benchmark database, revealing mid-range hardware.

New Nubia Mid-Range Smartphone Launching Soon?

The NX625J listing on Geekbench reveals the upcoming smartphone from the ZTE sub-brand will be running on a 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. Qualcomm’s mid-range chipset has been coupled with 6GB of RAM on the NX625J. Moving on to the benchmarking scores, we can see that the smartphone achieved a single-core score of 1,643 points and a multi-core score of 5,040 points. As far as the software is concerned, the Geekbench listing suggests the smartphone will be running on the Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box.

Going by the hardware specifications revealed by the Geekbench listing, the NX625J will be a mid-range offering from Nubia. This is actually the very first time that we have spotted the NX625J model number on the web, so there is nothing else that is known regarding the upcoming smartphone. That said, we can expect it to show up on TENAA and other Chinese certification agencies in the coming days.

Nubia’s latest smartphone is the Red Magic 3 gaming smartphone, which runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core chipset with active liquid-cooling. It comes with a 6.65-inch AMOLED display with HDR support and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The gaming smartphone has a 48MP resolution primary snapper coupled with an f/1.7 aperture. On the front is a 16-megapixel snapper for selfies with an f/2.0 aperture. Another key highlight of the Red Magic 3 is its massive 5000mAh battery with support for 30W wired charging. As confirmed by the company earlier this week, the Red Magic 3 will be launched in India by mid-June.
