Nubia Red Magic 3 To Arrive In India By Mid-June

Mobile gaming is on the rise in India and across the world. Black Shark is launching a new gaming smartphone called Black Shark 2 in the country today. Now ZTE’s nubia brand has announced that its gaming smartphone too will soon make a debut in India. nubia issued a press release saying that its Red Magic 3 gaming phone will be launched in the country sometime in mid-June.

The Red Magic 3 was unveiled in China last month. Recalling the technical specifications, the device sports a large 6.65-inch AMOLED display bearing FHD+ resolution. It features a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth gaming. The Red Magic 3 flaunts a customised RGB lightning strip on the back along with a conventional fingerprint scanner. It comes with front-facing stereo speakers, DTS:X and 3D sound technologies.

On the hardware front, the Red Magic 3 is powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with Adreno 640 GPU. It comes in three configurations with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device is claimed to be equipped with the next level active cooling fan inside. The Red Magic 3 is fitted with a mammoth 5,000mAh battery unit to keep it running with support for 30W fast charging.

In the camera department, the Red Magic 3 comes with a single 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. A 16MP snapper is fitted on the front for selfies. On the software front, the device runs Android 9 Pie with nubia’s custom skin on the top.

The Red Magic 3 carries a price tag of around Rs 30,100 in China for the base model and goes as high as up to Rs 44,589 for the top-end variant. We expect the device to be priced between 30,000-40,000 in India. We will keep you updated when the device is launched, so stay tuned to Pricebaba.
