Nubia Red Magic 3 Scores Higher than the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 on AnTuTu Benchmark

Nubia’s upcoming Red Magic 3 gaming smartphone passed through the Master Lu benchmark last week, confirming the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset inside. The Nubia Red Magic 3 has now appeared on the AnTuTu benchmark database, posting a higher score than the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 gaming smartphone.

Nubia Red Magic 3 Will be a Performance Beast

The Nubia Red Magic 3 achieved a highly impressive score of 4,37,524 on AnTuTu, which happens to be slightly higher than its main rival, the Black Shark 2. On the Master Lu benchmark, however, the Red Magic 3 did not post a much higher score than other Snapdragon 855-powered smartphones. The smartphone’s impressive performance on AnTuTu may be attributed to the impressive cooling solution inside. The Red Magic 3 is expected to have both liquid and air cooling inside to help the device provide class-leading gaming performance.

While the NX629J variant caught on AnTuTu features 8GB of RAM, the top-end Red Magic 3 version will have 12GB of RAM. Apart from impressive internals, the smartphone will feature an impressive display with a refresh rate higher than most gaming PCs. The display size is yet to be confirmed, although it has been established that it will feature 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution. Another key highlight of the upcoming gaming smartphone from Nubia will be impressive battery life. The Red Magic 3 will pack a massive 5000mAh capacity battery with 30W fast charging support. In terms of design, the Red Magic 3 is expected to have an improved screen-to-body ratio compared to its predecessor. On the back, it will likely have a similar RGB LED strip to add a bit of flair.

Nubia has confirmed that the Red Magic 3 will be launched in China this month. However, no specific date has been officially confirmed just yet. On the software front, the device is expected to run on Android 9.0 Pie operating system right out of the gate.
