nubia Red Magic 3S India launch set for October 17th

nubia is all set to launch its latest smartphone called the red Magic 3S in India in a few days. The company has announced that the phone will be released in the country at an event on October 17th. The nubia Red Magic 3S was originally introduced in China last month. The smartphone will arrive as the successor to the nubia Red Magic 3, which was launched in India in June this year. The handset is a gaming-centric offering with Qualcomm’s latest flagship Snapdragon 855+ processor. Just like its predecessor, the Red Magic 3S also flaunts a high screen refresh rate of 90Hz.

The nubia Red Magic 3S sports a 6.65-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels and a layer of Corning’s Gorilla Glass on top. The Snapdragon 855+ processor onboard the smartphone features a clock speed of 2.96GHz, and is paired with the Adreno 640 GPU. The handset comes in two RAM and storage configurations – 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. Software-wise, the device boots Android 9 Pie out of the box. For an immersive gaming experience, the Red Magic 3S offers ICE 2.1 cooling technology, ultrasonic pressure-sensitive buttons, and 4D smart shock motor for in-game vibrations.

In the optics department, the nubia Red Magic 3S sports a single 48MP camera at the rear that has an aperture of f/1.7. For selfies, the handset is equipped with a 16MP camera on the front that features an aperture of f/2.0. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and A-GPS. A 5,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4+ fast charging support completes the list of the features.

nubia Red Magic 3S price in India

The nubia Red Magic 3S’ price for Indian consumers hasn’t been announced yet. In China, the handset is available at a starting price of around Rs 30,000. The phone comes in three colour variants – Black, Flame Red, and Silver. We should have its pricing and availability details for India in a matter of a few days, so stay tuned.
