Nubia will launch a new phone in India with selfie flash

Although Nubia, as a standalone brand in India, has many smartphones up its sleeves, it is a new name for someone to remember and rather alien to masses. Recently, it announced the M2 Lite in India, featuring 4GB of RAM and 16-megapixel front-facing camera, making it a selfie-focused smartphone. The company is now on the verge of announcing a new phone, possibly the N1 lite.

Nubia pushed a social media teaser last evening that reads “Let there be Lite!” Additionally, it confirms housing a front-facing flash for better selfies. It more or less suggests it will be the Nubia N1 lite, which was announced at MWC earlier this year. The phone will flaunt a combination of black and gold colours and launch on May 22.

The highlight of the Nubia N1 lite has to be a big 5.5-inch IPS touchscreen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Inside, there is a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.2GHz in addition to Mali-T720 GPU for graphics. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.

The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and packs a 3,000mAh battery. It houses an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone supports FM radio and VoLTE so that those who are looking to operate it on a Reliance Jio network will face no problem.

We are expecting Nubia to reveal price details next week. Till then, stay tuned to Pricebaba Daily!
