China-based nubia recently confirmed the launch of its next flagship, the nubia Z20. The launch event will happen on August 8th in the brand’s home country. Now the nubia Z20 has been officially teased on Chinese social media by the company’s CEO Ni Fei.
The render gives us a close look at the curved design on the upcoming flagship. The teaser shows a ‘Koi Red’ coloured edge of the phone that is inspired by the Living Coral Pantone colour of the year. One can also notice the display surrounded by slim bezels and bottom chin. The smartphone’s curved screen is similar to Galaxy S7 Edge. The nubia Z20 is identical to the nubia X in terms of design. Both the devices boast dual display panels. On the front, there is a 6.42-inch OLED screen while the back has a 5.1-inch HD+ display. It is unclear whether the nubia Z20 will come with a notch-less display.
According to the TENNA listing, the Z20 is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. The phone may come in different variants packing up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. As per the listing, the device could sport a triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP main sensor, although the exact details of the camera module are not clearly known. The official teasers have hinted at a zoom feature and 8K video recording support. The Z20 is expected to be powered by a 3,900mAh battery.
With just two days to go for the nubia Z20 launch, we should get to know more details about the device soon. However, the nubia Z20 is not expected to make its way to India.
