Company CEO Bhavish Aggarwal charted out the company’s plans for the future in a blog post. As you can see from the image below, the company will start with premium motorcycles sometime in the second half of 2023, with e-motorcycles meant for the masses arriving by mid-2024.
“2022 will be remembered as the year India’s EV revolution truly took off. From just 4000 units a month in June 2021, the monthly run rate reached 80,000 units towards the end of 2022, a 20x growth!” Aggarwal says in the post.
The roadmap also shows the company’s first premium electric car arriving by late 2024, followed by a premium electric SUV within the first six months of 2025. Ola’s mass market or affordable electric car would only arrive by 2026 or later.
