After offering healthy discounts for the Ola S1 Pro e-scooters as part of a Navratri/Dussehra promotion, Ola Electric is now announcing an extension on the promo until the end of Diwali. As part of the original discount offer, the manufacturer was offering Rs 10,000 off on the Ola S1 Pro. Customers who missed out on the initial deal will now be able to benefit from the company’s promo.

On top of the Rs 10,000 discount, Ola S1 Pro customers can also receive a Rs 1,500 discount on purchasing the five-year extended warranty package from the company. Lastly, the introductory price of the Ola S1 has also been extended until Diwali, meaning it will sell for an ex-showroom cost of Rs 99,999 for at least a week from now.

Customers can further save money by utilizing benefits such as zero processing fees on loans in addition to a relatively low interest rate of 8.99%, as per 91Mobiles. As part of the Diwali festivities, Ola Electric has scheduled an event for the 22nd of October. It is rumoured that the manufacturer will release a cheaper version of the Ola S1 e-scooter lineup. In typical fashion, Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal is promoting the event on social media in typical fashion, calling it “one of the biggest announcements ever from Ola.”

Information on the features of this new Ola S1 e-scooter is currently unavailable, but we don’t have to wait long to find out. 91Mobiles suggests that it could cost somewhere in the range of Rs 80,000, which would put it amongst the most affordable electric scooters in the country.
