  • The update is being rolled out with the OxygenOS update
  • OnePlus’ premium and mid-range devices now support the Airtel 5G as well

While the 5G network is slowly taking place in multiple regions in India, OnePlus has started rolling out Jio 5G support for its OnePlus 10 lineup. It includes the OnePlus 10T, OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10R. This is the first series from OnePlus to get Jio 5G support.

However, remember that this update is exclusive to India and is rolling out gradually. Therefore you will have to wait a while if you own any of the devices mentioned above and have not yet received the most recent OxygenOS update.

Jio 5G support for OnePlus phones is a step forward in the fast network’s wider rollout. The OxyegnOS update will improve the network, Wi-Fi, screen display quality, and connection reliability.

Earlier, it was reported that Jio’s 5G network would only support three bands. This includes n28, n78, and n258. These bands are supported by the OnePlus 10T, OnePlus 10R, and OnePlus 10 Pro. Furthermore, other OnePlus devices, including the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 8 series, also support these bands.
