OnePlus 10 Pro could be arriving with the fastest wired charging seen on a OnePlus phone yet. The company introduced support for 65W wired charging with the launch of OnePlus 8T back in September 2020. After the 8T, subsequent OnePlus flagships such as OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, 9R, and 9RT have also carried support for Warp Charge 65T. Fresh information reveals that the OnePlus 10 Pro may carry support for 80W rapid charging.

OnePlus 10 Pro likely to support 80W fast charging

OnePlus 10 Pro seemingly certified by China’s 3C certification site
An unknown OnePlus phone with a NE2210 model number was spotted at China’s TENAA certification site recently. The same handset has now been certified by the 3C authority of the country. The 3C listing has revealed that the mysterious OnePlus device could be accompanied by a new OnePlus charger with ‘VCB8JACH’ model number, which offers up to 80W (11V/7.3A) charging speeds.
The 3C certification corroborates with the recent leak by reliable tipster Digital Chat Station who said that the OnePlus 10 Pro will carry support for 80W wired charging. Hence, it seems that the OnePlus NE2210 handset could be the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro flagship. Coming back to its 80W charger, it is unclear whether the company will be including it in the retail box of the device. Apart from 80W charging, the OnePlus 10 Pro is rumoured to carry support for 50W wireless charging.
OnePlus 10 Pro specifications (Rumoured)
The OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO 2.0 AMOLED panel that produces QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For selfies, it may feature a 32-megapixel front camera. The rear shell of the phone will feature a Hasselblad optimised camera setup featuring an OIS-enabled 48-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM will be powering the OnePlus 10 Pro. The device may ship with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset may draw power from a 5,000mAh battery.
There is no information on the pricing of the OnePlus 10 Pro. It is speculated that the company may not launch the vanilla OnePlus 10 alongside the Pro model in China. As far as global launch is concerned, it is expected to release in other markets by March or April 2022.
