OnePlus has already sent out invites for its CES event scheduled on January 5th, so it’s likely that the OnePlus 10 Pro could also debut at the same time.

OnePlus 10 Pro confirmed to debut next month

Pete Lau’s Weibo post doesn’t mention much details about the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro apart from confirming that it is arriving next month. OnePlus traditionally launches its flagship smartphones in March or April. Since the brand has skipped the OnePlus 9T, it could indeed launch the next-generation OnePlus 10 Pro in January which is way ahead of its usual timeline. Past reports also suggest that the smartphone could first launch in China and then arrive in global markets.

OnePlus 10 Pro’s renders and specifications are no mystery since they have been spotted in multiple leaks and rumours. The smartphone is said to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO display with curved edges bearing a QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There is a punch-hole cutout on the top left corner of the screen housing a 32MP snapper. The back panel of the OnePlus 10 Pro sports a square-shaped camera module that blends with the metal frame of the device.

The upcoming offering will also retain Hasselblad camera technology. The setup is expected to consist of a 48MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide snapper, and an 8MP telephoto lens. Internally, the OnePlus 10 Pro is confirmed to house a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The chipset will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. The smartphone is tipped to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
