OnePlus 10 Pro pre-registrations begin in China, launch date to be announced on January 4th

OnePlus 10 Pro is up for pre-booking from today in China. The brand officially shared the announcement on the microblogging platform Weibo. The registration is free of cost and the pre-sale will begin from January 4th in the home country.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is listed on Chinese retailer sites including, TMall, and OPPO Mall. However, the brand is yet to reveal the exact launch date of its upcoming flagship. Recently, CEO Pete Lau announced that the smartphone will debut next month.

OnePlus has also scheduled a CES event on January 5th. OPPO’s dedicated listing on its China website revealed that the launch date of the OnePlus 10 Pro will be announced on January 4th. Considering, that the pre-registration is live, we can expect the upcoming smartphone to launch soon. It is likely that the OnePlus 10 Pro will first debut in China and then launch in global markets in March or April. It’s also unclear whether OnePlus will launch the standard variant of its next-generation flagship alongside the Pro model. 

The JD listing of the OnePlus 10 Pro reveals the smartphone’s bottom portion of the back panel. It shows the brand’s logo and the device in the Black colour option. 

The OnePlus 10 Pro is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor under the hood. It will feature an LTPO 2.0 display that will offer a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz and better battery efficiency. 

Apart from the confirmed specifications, the OnePlus 10 Pro is rumoured to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a punch-hole cutout and a QHD+ resolution. The back panel is expected to feature a square-shaped camera module that blends with the metal frame. The smartphone’s camera module will reportedly comprise a 48MP main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide snapper, and an 8MP telephoto lens.
