OnePlus 10 Pro has launched in India today. It has arrived two months after its China debut. The latest offering is the successor to last year’s OnePlus 9 Pro (review). This time the brand has only launched the Pro variant and not the standard model, unlike the past flagships.

The Indian variant of the OnePlus 10 Pro comes with the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart. The smartphone packs significant upgrades over its predecessor. It competes against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S22, iPhone 13 Pro, iQOO 9 Pro, and others in the market.

The OnePlus 10 Pro will go on sale from April 5th. It will be available for purchase from Amazon India, OnePlus official website, and the brand’s exclusive offline and partner retail stores across the country.

OnePlus 10 Pro offers Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and 80W fast charging

Beginning with the display, the OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen with curved edges and a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner. It features LTPO 2.0 display technology for a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz. The device comes with 1,300 nits peak brightness and HDR10 support. The display is integrated with a fingerprint scanner and it is also shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

The smartphone’s back panel sports a rectangular horizontal camera module. On the audio front, the OnePlus 10 Pro is equipped with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. There are also dual noise-cancelling microphones. 

In the photography department, the OnePlus 10 Pro features triple rear cameras. The setup comprises a 48MP Sony IMX789 primary sensor with OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 150-degree FoV, and an 8MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom and OIS support. There is a 32MP front-facing snapper for selfies. The OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a second-generation Hasselblad image system that offers natural colour calibration and a 12-bit RAW format. All three camera lenses on the device are capable of shooting in 10-bit colour.

The OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a ‘Movie Mode’ feature that lets users tweak settings like ISO, shutter speed, and more before and while recording a video. Under the hood, the OnePlus 10 Pro houses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It packs up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 80W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. 

Connectivity options on the OnePlus 10 Pro include a USB-C port, dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS. The device also comes with an X-Axis linear motor. Software-wise, the OnePlus 10 Pro runs on OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box.
